About Us

Hostmyehr offers easily-scalable and configurable implementations for any size medical practice or clinic, which can be customized based on user specifications and needs. hostmyehr employs skilled staff who are experienced in managing installations and providing seamless integration, so that your practice management and EHR are available to users, whether in the office or remotely.

Hostmyehr understands the importance of protecting customer data and has measures in place to ensure data remains secure. hostmyehr’s hardware, which hosts your software, is located in two geographically-distinct data centers that provide a resilient, secure and high-performance environment. Access to these physical facilities is controlled and monitored by trained staff and state-of-the-art technology. Hardware is located in locked racks, which in turn are in separate locked cages, inside highly secure buildings that are protected by armed guards every day of the year. Network access is secure and monitored 24/7, and tools are in place to block viruses, malware and other potential intrusions.

What We Do

Hostmyehr staff have over a decade of hosting mission-critical applications for physicians, other healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems. We use proven, state-of-the-art hardware, software, and connectivity technologies to ensure security and reliability. Most importantly, we have policies and procedures in place that allow our services to be HIPAA-compliant, which helps our customers meet CMS’ Meaningful Use criteria.

With hostmyehr Hosted Solutions, you can reduce your IT hassles, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. hostmyehr can help you scale and deploy rapidly to meet growing business needs, with little or no additional capital investment on your part. In addition, practices benefit from:

  • No additional costly capital expenditures for hardware upgrades every few years
  • No additional upfront costs or need for specialized staff
  • Predictable annualized expenses
  • Software upgrades and other support services included in the cost
  • Faster, simplified implementations
  • HIPAA compliance with electronic data security
  • Monitoring and support by experienced technicians
  • Redundant systems, including power, cooling and connectivity
  • Automatic security and back-ups, along with data recovery, if necessary
  • Elimination of time-consuming server upgrades, back-ups and related resource costs
  • Secure access to patient information from remote locations, including on mobile devices

While we are responsible for keeping your data secure, please remember that you own all of your own data, which is provided to you, even if you decide to terminate our services.

Your data is replicated or archived in more than one location, to ensure that it can be available, even in the event of a disaster. Your databases and scanned images reside on independent RAID hard drive arrays located on multiple “mirrored” servers. Further, the data is backed up to a third media archive each night. We manage this process for you, so you never have to worry whether your staff is performing the back-ups, or if they are being done correctly.

While out of the office, you can access the same charts and information from home, hospital, or other remote locations, through the use of Microsoft Remote Desktop. Unlike some Remote Desktop implementations, we offer robust support for your local printers and scanners while you are in a terminal server session.

Your system is deployed on multiple clusters of application servers, database servers, terminal servers and load balancers, in one of the world’s most reliable data centers. This type of infrastructure is simply not available in your office.
